Ten Hag on brink of Manchester United exit after ‘woeful’ FA Cup display

Erik ten Hag’s tenure at Old Trafford appears to be nearing its end as Manchester United fans have lost faith in the Dutch manager.

This follows Sunday’s disappointing performance in the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry at Wembley.

Despite stealing a penalty shootout victory over the Championship side, United’s collapse from a 3-0 lead saw many of their supporters disheartened.

The club’s co-chairmen Avram and Joel Glazer, alongside new part-owner Jim Ratcliffe, watched the unrest firsthand.

The SunSport suggests that despite the win, Ratcliffe’s lack of public support for Ten Hag casts doubt on the manager’s future, following recent changes at the club.

The English media insists that even a potential FA Cup final win against Manchester City may not be enough to save Ten Hag.

More so, United’s Champions League qualification hopes is still in doubt and the possibility of missing out on any European football next season looms.

With eighth place in the Premier League becoming a realistic outcome, former Brighton and Chelsea manager Graham Potter is emerging as the frontrunner to replace Ten Hag in the summer.
