“Blackish” stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, have been chosen to host this year’s BET Awards.
In a statement released by BET, Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross reveal that they have been chosen to do the honors.
Anderson, 44, said the annual awards show was something he enjoys watching each year. He shared with fans that he and his on-screen wife were “going to have so much fun” hosting.
In the same statement, Ross added that she was “thrilled” to be hosting what’s sure to be “an epic evening.” Not only will the ABC stars be the evening’s emcees, they’ve each been nominated for best actor and actress, respectively.
“I’m thrilled to be hosting the 15th annual BET Awards alongside by on-screen husband Anthony, and am so honored to also be a nominee!” Ross said. “The BET Awards always deliver an epic evening with the best of the best across movies, sports, TV and music.”

The 2015 BET Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. EDT.
