Chelsea Grabs their Second Succesive Victory


Jose Mourinho’s men grabbed their second succesive victory in a nervy match against Aston Villa.


On a night which looks like an easy ride for the London side. Chelsea got an early lead via an own goal through an Oscar pass which was accurately hit towards goal by Edin Hazard only to be pushed by the goalkeeper into an on rushing defender.

The game continued with a slow pace until Christian Benteke grabs the equaliser just few seconds into the end of the first half. A well worked pass fell to him in the box and it was perfectly taken by the Belgian.

Mourinho made a quick change in the second half bringing in Lukaku for Demba Ba and the substitution payed off as the tough striker continued to disturb aston villa’s defence until they where awarded a freekick.

A well driven cross from Frank Lampard fell perfectly to Branislav Ivanovic and he made no mistake as he made it 2-1 to Chelsea.

The match was forced to a nervy and tough close when Peter Cech made a close save from Wiesmann.
