Ahead of Spain-Brazil friendly at the Santiago Bernabeu, Nico Williams shares his support with Vinicius Junior against racism in football.

Williams, Athletic Club ace, who is likely to feature in the game for Spain, acknowledges the impact of racism, having experienced it himself in his career.

Speaking to Diario AS, he condemns the targeting of Vinicius, attributing it to both his talent and his race.

“He’s insulted because he’s a great player and because he’s black.

“It’s very wrong and you have to cut those things. Football is to be enjoyed, not used to insult,” he added.
