OAU students storm EFCC office to protest the release of fellow students

Some OAU students have taken matters into their hands, boarding buses to EFCC office to protest the release of their colleagues arrested by the EFCC.

Today, EFCC officials went on a raid in some off-campus hostels in the University, arresting over 60 students without any search warrant.

The EFCC has confirmed this on their website today, claiming that the arrest was based on intelligence and they have retrieved 9 exotic cars alongside 190 mobile phones.

This enraged the University students who believe the law enforcement agency did not follow due process and have violated their human rights.

Although the OAU students were blocked by gun carrying EFCC officials at the entrance who kept telling them to shift back, the students remained adamant, protesting the release of their fellow colleagues.
