Dutchman Louis van Gaal has agreed a deal to succeed David Moyes as Manchester United boss.
Although a prospective contract is yet to be signed the deal for the Netherlands national team coach to take over is done.
A spokesman for Manchester United said: “There is nothing to report. We have not signed a new manager. When we have something to report, we will announce it.”
But Mirror Sport understands that after talks between van Gaal and chief executive Ed Woodward the deal is now done pending a signature.
