Bayern reportedly keeping tabs on potential Ronald Araújo exit from Barcelona

Reports emerging from Barcelona indicate that Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation of Ronald Araújo, amidst speculations of his departure.

Araújo has been a subject of interest for Bayern for some time, with the Bundesliga giants even considering an offer during the winter transfer window.

However, Barcelona resisted and retaining the defender at the time.

Now, the tide seems to be turning, with signs pointing towards Araújo’s potential exit from Barcelona in the upcoming transfer window.

Both club officials and the player himself are reportedly open to the idea of a transfer, especially considering Araújo’s reluctance to extend his current contract, set to expire in June 2026.

While Barcelona valued Araújo significantly higher last window, between €80m-€100m, the current market suggests a lower price range of €60m-€70m for the Uruguayan international.

Bayern Munich, amidst a period of transition with potential departures of experienced players, sees Araújo as a valuable addition to their squad.
